WHERE I COME FROM
&
WHERE I WANT TO TAKE US

We’ve heard many promises. However, if you've attended a city meeting, talked with a neighbor who has, or are aware of the rapid and concerning employee turnover at City Hall, you know Franklin’s image has suffered greatly and for far too long. I believe my skills, experience and temperament are better suited to raise our community to the next level.

Local government has an obligation and a duty to the people to deliver standards without compromising what residents have come to appreciate. With proper review and professional input, development can succeed without trading away parks, trails, and resources as bargaining chips.

I’ve stood my ground, alongside our professional planners, to bring you quality development that protects home values and includes typical standards meant to provide accountability.  It’s unacceptable — as well as unpredictable —  to realize sound planning and policy practices have been altered after unanimous Council vote.

Frustration due to unpredictable procedures is real, and our City has seen significant Planning staff turnover as a result. Recruiting versus retaining staff continues to waste time and money. I’m asking you to join me in establishing and maintaining a unified vision of growth in Franklin and a development image that matches the hearts of the good people residing here! I’m invested in our Community and, like you, I want to see fair, predictable procedures that remain unchanged after you or the developer leave the meeting room.

You deserve Leadership you can trust. I ask for your vote as it will enable me to effectively and accurately execute on the Council's direction and the voice of the people.
